General News

The May general meeting was well attended. It was good to see Shirley K. out at the meeting. Although she is still taking therapy, she walked with us from Wards Island to Hanlins Point. Thank you Norma for your excellent guidance on both hikes. Karl W. took some pictures and I hope to publish them in our newsletter this fall. George C. loved Casino Rama, as he was the proud winner of $1200. I heard he smiled broadly all the way home.

If you have any special food requirements i.e. vegetarian or allergies kindly call your telephone person and advise them before each function you are attending. Give ample notice we are pleased to accomodate you. Once again we will be subsidizing the Christmas and New Year's events, as they are the most expensive of the year. The winners of the 50/50 draw are as follows, Jack C. April 22nd, Norma G. May 6th, Leila R. May 13th, Lillian H. and June B. June 17th.

Caring Corner

Our sympathies go out to Angela N. who is recuperating with a broken wrist due to a nasty fall. It was good to see Ken S. out at the Legion after his eye operation - Nice shades, Ken.
